Erasmus+ language assessment and online language courses. If you go on a study exchange or internship within the Erasmus+ programme, you are required to take a language test – the Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support (OLS) language assessment – before and after your time abroad. If you wish to improve your language proficiency, you will have the Discover the Erasmus plus and language courses of the Erasmus Learning Academy tailored for teachers and education staff and fully fundable through Erasmus+ KA1. Next to the pre-semester German Intensive Course, Erasmus students also benefit from TU Dortmund’s free of charge language courses during the semester.

Thanks to Trinity’s membership of various networks and consortia, students are also permitted to apply to go on Erasmus under the terms of General exchanges, which are open to almost any student whose degree permits study abroad and who can find a suitable course combination.
